Technical Diving

So, why Technical Diving?  Technical diving can offer more opportunities than regular recreational diving.  It can allow you to dive longer, deeper, use mixed diving gases, use rebreathers or go in overhead environments such as caves and wrecks.  These all sound fantastic (and are) but training is essential as all have further inherent risks if not conducted properly.  

Learning for technical diving will greatly expand your diving skills and knowledge and can provide you with experiences and exploration opportunities in places very few people will ever see.

Here at Wraysbury we currently offer the following courses:

Intro to Tech

This is the first step in introducing to you to the world of technical diving.  It will improve your dive planning methods, in-water skills and introduce you to technical diving dive equipment in a fun, controlled environment.

Sidemount

First aid and CPR are essential skills for everyone, but especially for all those involved in adventure sports.  Divers are no exception to this.  Basic Life Support skills are vital for all divers and non-divers carrying out surface support – for that just in case moment.

Advanced Nitrox

The Rescue course is probably the most fun, rewarding and challenging time you will have in the water! During your Rescue course we will give you the skills to identify, manage and solve problems both in yourself and others.

Decompression Procedures

In diving new adventures are always awaiting.  Learn, experience and understand more about the underwater world through speciality courses.  

Speciality courses are designed to improve your skills, knowledge and understanding of specific diving areas.  There are lots to choose from - the question is........which one first? 

Nitrox Gas Blender

Have you ever wondered how your nitrox cylinders are filled? Do you like the “behind the scenes” look at what makes a dive happen? Take the TDI Nitrox Gas Blender Course to find out how your cylinders get filled with nitrox and become competent in doing it yourself! 

Advanced Gas Blender

The TDI Advanced Gas Blender Course picks up where you left off in the previous sequence in training, the TDI Nitrox Gas Blender course.After successful completion of the TDI Advanced Gas Blender course, you will be able to engage in the blending of oxygen and helium based gases.
