Peak Performance/Perfect Buoyancy

As divers we like to be able to control where we are in the water – whether we sink, float or remain motionless at any specific depth.  It can be a tricky thing to master but those who do, stand apart. You’ve seen them underwater – they glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover, almost as if by thought.  They interact gently with aquatic life and have minimal impact on their surroundings.  So, now it’s time to build on the fundamentals learnt on your Open Water Course and become the buoyancy master you’ve always dreamed of.

Search and Recovery

Have you ever heard the saying ‘like finding a drop in the ocean?’  Finding something you have lost in the water can often feel like this if you don’t really know how to search properly.  This course will teach you effective ways not only to find things but also how to safely bring them to the surface.  Objects that are small, large or just plain awkward - we can show you a way to find and lift them.

Self Reliant Diver

Learn the skills and mindset to build confidence and safety for those situations where you might find yourself alone.

Sidemount

The popularity of Sidemount diving has recently exploded in the scuba diving world.  The positive side of this is that as a result courses have developed which enable us mere mortals to have the opportunity to sidemount like those mad cave divers. This course is designed to teach you how to safely use sidemounted cylinders as an alternative to the traditional back-mounted twinset configuration.

Solo Diver

Do you not have any friends? Or do you simply love the idea of diving alone?  For those of you that have done over 100+ logged dives, the solo course will teach you the skills, equipment and mindset to plan and execute a dive by yourself.

Surface Marker Buoy (SMB)

The Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) or delayed SMB (DSMB) is unarguably one of the most important pieces of equipment that a diver can carry, in order to let those on the surface know we are underwater.  Did you know however that there are different types and different ways of deploying them?    The SMB course will teach you different techniques and begin getting you comfortable at safe SMB deployment – a skill properly mastered by few.

Underwater Naturalist

The reason that most people start diving is to see and learn about the underwater world.  When you begin diving you realise how much there is to learn about.  The underwater Naturalist course will teach you about the variety of aquatic life, how they interact and how we can look after this amazing realm.

Underwater Navigation

Do you want to be the diver the everyone wants to follow……….and not just because you remembered the compass?  Being able to navigate well will not only make you a good buddy but it will also help you stick to your dive plan, save gas and give you a massive sense of accomplishment.  During the navigation speciality you will not only master the use of a compass but you will also learn how to use the environment to find your way around.

Wreck

One of the biggest lures to the underwater world is the opportunity to delve into history and see the many sunken wrecks that lie there.  Whether sunk on purpose, as an artificial reef or the result of a mishap, wrecks open fascinating windows to the past.  Most divers find wrecked ships, planes or even vehicles nearly irresistible because they are intriguing to explore, exciting avenues of discovery and usually teeming with aquatic life.  The Wreck Diver course teaches you the ins and outs of rewarding, responsible wreck diving.

Master Scuba Diver

The Master Scuba Diver is the highest non-professional rating that can be achieved in recreational diving.  When you gain this rating it means you will have acquired significant training and experience in a variety of dive environments.
